Think Less, Do More

When you’re starting something new, it’s pretty scary to take that first step.

You’re scared to fail. You’re scared of what people might think or say about you. You’re scared to not have that perfect blueprint in your hands to guide you.

So why bother to start?

That’s where we’ll lean towards 99% of the time because it’s easiest step to take - not one at all.

We may feel stuck, frozen or unable to move because we don’t know where to go but that doesn’t mean we still can’t take that step. A beautiful step into the unknown.

When I first started to create & share my voice with the world via podcasting, vlogging, blogging etc… I was scared as shit ladies & gentlemen for all the reasons listed above PLUS some.

But did that hold me back? Absolutely not.

If anything I let these thoughts add fuel to the fire inside me. I became my biggest *bearded* hype man and I convinced myself I had what it took even if it felt like no one else in the world believed in me.

A beautiful thing starts to happen once you get going… it gets easier.

One week turns into a whole month. A whole month turns into back to back to months and before you know it a year or two has flown passed you.

The domino effect begins and all the momentum takes over.

You start to see the vision even clearer because you’re not caught up in worrying about what other people are thinking. You’re not worried about that mistake you made last week.

You’re too busy doing. You’re too busy executing, that it all begins to flow.

Hours of the day seem to float by because you’re so head down and taken over by the work. The idea turns into your reality and you become completely in love with the possibilities of where this thing might take you if you just - keep - going.

At some point you may lose that momentum. Other opportunities will become a bigger priority. You might even meet a lucky guy or gal that begins to pull your energy from it. Whatever it may be… it’s okay.

You can always come back. You can always pick up right where you left off. You can always resharpen the sword and get back to work against your biggest critic, your biggest enemy… yourself.

Think about that one thing you’ve contemplated starting or even that old passion you wish you had never given up.

What’s truly holding you back from giving it a shot?

I don’t know about you but I’d like to believe it’ll be easier living the rest of our lives knowing we at least went for it rather than not knowing where something could’ve take us.

Think less… do more.

One step at a time, you got this.
